Shelburne Films is an independent film and video production company specializing in educational, news and documentary titles. Since 1972 we have been engaged in producing high quality programs for distribution on videotape and broadcast television, as well as short films and videos, television commercials and video news releases for educational and corporate clients. Our most recent production is a two-hour historical documentary shown on Ohio PBS Television.

The Heritage of Central America was chosen for a 1999 Silver Apple Award by The National Educational Media Network.

Two programs from our newly released "Central America Today" educational series were selected for an Aegis Award for Excellence in Video Production. They are: "Life in Central America" and "The Heritage of Central America."

"The Country Evolves", part of our United States Geography Series, wins a Finalist award at the prestigious Worldfest Houston International Film Festival of 1997.

The Columbus International Film and Video Festival, one of the country's oldest nontheatrical competitive showcases, honors Shelburne Films with an award for "The Country Evolves" at its Octobr 1997 festival.

A Finalist Award from The New York Festivals for "The Country Evolves," an overview of the United States, one of an eight part United States Geography Series.

" Peru," from the South America Today Series, was awarded the Red Ribbon at the American Film and Video Festival.
